Ohio Works test floor and is validated to the applicable IEEE, IEC, and API standards. We verify electrical output and speed stability, temperature rise under load, and vibration and noise levels. Customers are welcome to attend testing, and every project includes a complete test data package.

Simulate Real-World Conditions
We replicate operating conditions on our test floor:
- •480 V to 13.8 kV test voltages
- •60 Hz and 50 Hz frequencies
- •Horizontal and vertical configurations
- •Full-load endurance runs and rapid start/stop cycles
Measure With Precision
We measure performance with industrial-grade instrumentation:
- •Synchronous motors and generators up to 30,000 kVA (IEEE 115 / IEC 60034)
- •Induction motors up to 10,000 HP (IEEE 112 / IEC 60034)
- •State-of-the-art Data Acquisition System
- •Bently-Nevada ADRE vibration monitoring
Experience the Test With Us
You can observe testing in person or virtually from the master control room:
- •Two vertical pits and two horizontal bedplates (each >1 million pounds)
- •Meets or exceeds API 0.02 ips vibration criteria for massive, rigid mounting
- •Higher fidelity than facilities relying on housing and shaft probe readings

they return to service—not after.
